Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Greylark Studios Inc. (“Greylark Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game qup (the “Game”) on iOS and Android.
Information Processed in Connection With the Game
qup does not ask you to create an account or sign in. Greylark Studios does not maintain a server-side database containing your gameplay profile, collection, or progress. Certain information may nevertheless be processed by third-party services integrated with or used to distribute the Game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and Google’s configuration, AdMob and its partners may collect or process information such as:
- Device or advertising identifiers, where available and permitted;
- General technical information about your device, such as device model, operating-system version, language, and similar information;
- Approximate, non-precise location derived from information such as your IP address;
- Information about ad delivery, ad interactions, and use of the Game that is relevant to providing, measuring, securing, or limiting advertising.
Google AdMob may process this information on our behalf and for Google’s own service purposes. Greylark Studios does not maintain a separate database containing AdMob device-level information. We may have access to aggregated, statistical, or reporting information made available through AdMob. Google’s handling of information is also governed by its own policies:
Purchases
The Game offers a one-time in-app purchase called the Pixel Pack, which removes ads and unlocks additional content. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Greylark Studios does not receive or store your payment-card number or full billing credentials.
The applicable app store may maintain transaction and entitlement information so that purchases can be processed, verified, or restored. Store transactions are also subject to the applicable platform’s terms and privacy policy:
Data Stored on Your Device
The Game stores gameplay information such as your progress, settings, and collection locally on your device. Greylark Studios does not operate a cloud account or game server that stores this gameplay data.
Deleting the Game will generally remove locally stored game data, subject to any backup, restore, synchronization, or device-transfer features provided by your operating system or app-store platform. Purchase entitlements may continue to be retained by Apple or Google so that eligible purchases can be verified or restored.
Communications With Greylark Studios
If you contact Greylark Studios by email or another support channel, we will receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information to respond to your request, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, and address legal, security, or policy obligations where necessary.
Children’s Privacy
qup is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age established by applicable law in a user’s jurisdiction. Greylark Studios does not knowingly use the Game to request personal information directly from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to Greylark Studios, please contact us using the information below so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
Your Rights and Choices
- Advertising controls. Your device, operating system, Google, or Apple may provide controls related to advertising identifiers, tracking, consent, or ad personalization. Availability and wording of these controls can vary by device and region.
- Remove ads. Purchasing the Pixel Pack removes advertising from the Game.
- Privacy rights. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights concerning personal information, such as rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to certain processing. Requests relating to information held by Google, Apple, or another third party may need to be directed to that provider. You may also contact us using the details below and we will assist where we reasonably can.
Data Retention
Greylark Studios does not maintain a server-side player-profile database for qup. Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is deleted, reset, or affected by applicable backup or restore features. Information processed by Google, Apple, or other platform services is retained according to those providers’ policies and settings.
If you contact Greylark Studios directly, we may retain your correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle directly. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Third-party services used by the Game maintain their own security practices and are responsible for the systems they operate.
Third-Party Services
This Privacy Policy describes Greylark Studios’ practices and the third-party services currently used by qup as described above. Third-party services may update their own practices and policies independently. We encourage you to review their privacy information where relevant.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including if the Game’s features or third-party services change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the updated version on this page.
